Managing risk through topical and practical insights

In today's unpredictable business environment, renegotiating risks, costs, commitments, and value is essential. This workshop examines current market dynamics and provides practical development experience that builds on your current skills in dealing with economic challenges.

Who is the workshop for?

The Renegotiator is an advanced refresher workshop for individuals who previously attended the Complete Skilled Negotiator workshop.

Formatted as a one-day, nonresidential workshop for up to eight people, it equips attendees with the tools and skills to deal with renegotiating agreements when the environment, stakes, and game have changed.

What can you expect?

You share the experience of creative planning and problem-solving in a safe environment as part of reengineering your deals, and you practice negotiating multi-issue deals across the table with our consultants. We analyze your strengths based on video analysis and provide you with direct feedback and recommendations, development opportunities, and negotiation style guidance.

The condensed format of the workshop ensures you leave feeling reenergized and confident in seizing control of any business negotiation. Use The Gap Partnership's tactical planning (ETP) tool to prepare for future negotiations. Ultimately, you'll be armed with the most relevant skills in today's ever-changing markets.

By the end of this workshop, you will:

•    Have confidence in working with a relevant agenda to tackle the challenges you face
•    Understand the process involved in renegotiating existing agreements
•    Recognize how your attitudes and skills affect opportunities during your negotiations
•    Know how common economic dynamics affect the potential of your agreements
•    Possess the skills and knowledge needed to plan your negotiations using new online tools
•    Adopt a capability model for building your future negotiation skills
•    Be able to benchmark your own performance against professional negotiators
